Woman walking a labyrinth by the ocean – therapy for life transitions and self-discovery in Bellevue

Individual Therapy

Like walking a labyrinth, healing begins by turning inward—each step a gentle return to yourself. While our relationships shape who we are, true growth often starts with self-understanding. Individual therapy in Bellevue offers a calm, supportive space to explore your inner world, reduce anxiety and overwhelm, and reconnect with your authentic self so you can connect more meaningfully with others. Together, we’ll navigate life transitions—perimenopause, identity shifts, and emotional stress with compassion and curiosity, helping you find clarity, meaning, and a renewed sense of purpose.

Therapy can be a space where you don’t have to hold everything together—a place to set down the weight you’ve been carrying and finally exhale. In my work as a marriage and family therapist in Bellevue, Washington, I offer individual therapy that helps you reconnect with yourself, your emotions, and your sense of purpose. My approach is grounded in the belief that healing happens through connection—with ourselves, with others, and with the systems that shape our lives.

I specialize in working with women navigating perimenopause, anxiety, depression, trauma (including religious trauma and abuse), and identity changes. Many of my clients come to therapy during seasons of transition—when the familiar no longer fits, and they’re searching for a deeper sense of meaning. These transitions may include motherhood, fertility challenges, relationship changes, marriage stress, sexual questions, or rediscovering identity after years of people-pleasing or caretaking.

If you’re struggling with burnout, overwhelm, or the invisible mental load of caring for others, therapy can help you find steadiness again. Together, we’ll create a safe and compassionate space to slow down, regulate your nervous system, and listen to what your body and emotions are trying to tell you. Through conversation, curiosity, and gentle reflection, you’ll begin to rebuild trust in your own wisdom and uncover new ways to flourish.

My style as a therapist is relational, collaborative, and trauma-informed. Drawing from Narrative Therapy, Internal Family Systems (IFS), Jungian archetypal psychology, and mind-body, somatic approaches, I help you explore your story with compassion and without shame. You’ll learn how to set boundaries, process past pain, understand your body’s cues (using Polyvagal Theory and other techniques), and move toward relationships and goals that align with your authentic self.

Therapy is not about “fixing” you—it’s about helping you return home to yourself. Whether you’re experiencing anxiety, depression, chronic pain, grief, hormonal changes, loss of identity, or simply a quiet longing for more, you don’t have to navigate it alone.

If you’re ready to begin, I offer individual counseling for women in Bellevue and throughout Washington State via telehealth. Reach out today to start the process of healing, growth, and rediscovery.
